We currently are looking for a part-time fitness professional at Next Step Health and Fitness.
Next Step Health and Fitness is a supervised health and fitness center catering to clients of all ages and health backgrounds.
Duties include:
Performing exercise testing and member orientations.
Prescribing safe and effective exercise programs based on test results, health history and member goals.
Supervising members through their programs and making updates as necessary.
Demonstrating the ability to multi-task and working with more than one person at a time.
Updating clients on health and fitness topics.
Answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining client charts and light filing.
Perform daily checks on equipment and notify supervisor of any equipment out of service or in need of repair. Light cleaning and maintenance of exercise equipment and facility.
Qualifications:
A bachelor`s in Exercise Science or a related field.
Current CPR, AED and First-Aid certifications.
Current certification from ACSM, NSCA, AFAA or ACE is highly preferred.
Must be willing to work the night shift (5PM - 9PM) Mondays - Thursdays and possibly the Saturday morning shift (8AM - 1PM).
Exceptional customer service skills.
